I've been photographing cigarette butts in the streets for almost a year. It began as a series for Instagram but over time has become much more. The series, now named Smokers' Detritus, follows me whenever I leave my home. I wrote a series of ten essays about these photographs. This essay features the 2016 AIPAD show.
